The rules for using Galomira

Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account — see our Child Safety Standards.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, and for keeping your password confidential.
• Membership in a specific neighborhood is subject to our residency verification process, and admins/moderators may approve or decline requests at their discretion.

Acceptable use

Galomira exists to help real neighbors connect. You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that endangers the safety of a minor
• Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Falsify or spoof your location to gain access to a neighborhood you don't reside in
• Use the service to advertise or solicit outside of the Marketplace, Services, and Ads features designed for that purpose
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data about other residents beyond normal use of the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours

Content

Marketplace, services, and ads

• Marketplace and Services listings are agreements directly between residents — Galomira is not a party to, and does not guarantee, any transaction, item, or service listed.
• You're responsible for verifying the other party and the condition of any item or service before exchanging money or meeting in person.
• Galomira does not process marketplace or service payments — arrangements for payment and exchange are between the residents involved.
• Neighborhood ad campaigns are purchased directly through Galomira and processed by Stripe; ad content must comply with these Terms and may be reviewed before publishing.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove your account if you violate these Terms, our Child Safety Standards, or applicable law, or if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect other residents. You can delete your own account at any time — see Account Deletion for how.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

• Galomira is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
• We don't guarantee that residency verification, moderation, or reporting will catch every violation — use good judgment, especially when meeting other residents in person.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Galomira and Aegeon Studios are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from interactions, transactions, or disputes with other residents.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Galomira after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
